The U. S. annual medic core collection contains approximately 200 accessions. This collection
contains
35 different species which have been evaluated in 6 locations across the U. S. (Athens, Georgia;
Beltsville, Maryland; Ithaca, New York; Logan, Utah; St. Paul, Minnesota, and Tucson, Arizona).
Data was collected on flowering time, growth habit, plant height, plant spread, pod production,
and
pod spines. All of the evaluation data is available on the Germplasm Resources Information
Network

for help in obtaining the data. A small amount of seed is available for all of the accessions in the
core
